>Kicker is looking for a Production Coordinator to join our fast growing Calgary-based team. Your primary task is to make sure our video projects run smoothly, stay within budget and on schedule. Your work will include connecting with clients, creating & tracking the project’s schedules and milestones and providing staff and crew information and support as needed. The role often involves administrative and office management support, and sometimes support with marketing and promotion.

The Production Coordinator will assist the Managing Director and work closely with clients, our video production team and other marketing staff. This is a more junior position but offers a lot of flexibility in work schedule -- and the ability to grow quickly into more senior roles.

 
Desired Skills & Experience
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop shooting and production schedules
• Hire contractors as needed
• Oversee location shooting schedules and arrange any necessary permissions
• Track and report all expenses
• Day-to-day management of project teams and take lead in dealing with issues or problems
• Ensure project runs to schedule and to budget
• Oversee production paperwork, such as releases, call sheets, and daily progress reports
• Ensure compliance with all legal, copyright, model release, contracting and permitting issues
• Assist executive producer and other production staff with scripts and program ideas

Key Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in digital media/marketing
- Previous experience in video production or marketing agency an asset
- Experience with online project management tools (i.e. Basecamp)
- Positive & enthusiastic attitude
- Client friendly, can-do attitude
